Art so Lucky

"Vacation" - Erin Cunningham
Oil on panel, 12" x 24"

Restarting my blogging with a new platform and kicking it off with glimpses of works of art from Boise based artists.

Being ingrained in viewing the world through the 3:2 aspect ratio of a 35mm negative, this is how I am sharing their works. My apologies to the artists for only showing cropped versions of their art but I think it say volumes that they still showcase strongly in these "zoomed" views.

"Dear Vincent, You Are Still Relevant" - Betsie Richardson
Oil on canvas, 16" x 20"

"Turkey" - Megan Mizuta
Water soluble marker on paper, 3.3" x 5.5"

"Julia Davis Park Swans" - Karen Bubb
Encaustic, 8" x 8"

Brain Butter adult coloring book #1 "tipped in drawing" - Kelly Knopp and Noble Hardesty
Felt marker on card stock, 8.5" x 11"

"Fall near Fairfield, ID" - Samuel L. Paden

I'm closing with this phrase that has made its way from Facebook posts to bumper sticker status:

"The Earth without Art is just Eh".

Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Next time, photo images from the  05. -Gregg
