Best $5 I spent in a long time.

Erin Cunningham explains her process and how much of her work is based on found or family photographs, communicating with the past, paying homage to something physical that can be held.
Jodi Eichelberger's ST(r)EAM Artist Studio/Gallery bike tour in the Surel Mitchell Live-Work-Create District in Garden City, Idaho on June 18, 2016. The  artists and venues included Susan Madacsi, April VanDeGrift, Erin Cunningham, Ken McCall Studios, James & Matt Wilson of Red Valley Mandolins, Arin Arthur, Angie Bowling Sebolt, Belinda Isley, Matt Herberg, Lisa Roggenbuck and the Visual Arts Collective.

The April, May, and June tours were sellouts. Next tour is August.

April VanDeGrift talks about this etched painting where she was responding from one line to the next rather than trying to control each line.
Jodi Eichelberger and Susan Madacsi highlight some of Ken McCall's works in progress including his and other artists designs. In the background is a Matt Grover designed water sculpture that Ken is fabricating.
Matt Wilson shows his first mandolin, handcrafted by his father, for him when he was five. James Wilson (green shirt), owner of Garden City based Red Valley Mandolins, has been building mandolins and mandolin family instruments since 1996.

I've seen Lisa Roggenbuck's work previously but after her "art talk" I view it from a completely different perspective. Thanks Stream for continuing to help see the world in different ways.

The always friendly folks at the VAC make it a nice place to wrap up a Stream tour.

Commonauts Youth Outreach Program Summer Opener at the Boise Hive on June 4, 2016 featured BBQ and four local bands: Julia & the Jumpscares, Tag Along Friend, Girl Puke, and Three Gunas. As Brandon Young of the Three Gunas would say about the event,  "assault your senses with some good sense for sensory enjoyment".

Special thanks to Jon Hale, Tracey Hale, and Jon Faulkner for coordinating the event, taking care of the sound system, tasty BBQ goodies and even having the pop on ice. Living out loud at the Boise Hive!
